Science

II have been a scientist for as long as I can remember. Thirty years of working on biological problems – from evolutionary cell biology and computational genomics to liquid biopsy and precision oncology diagnostics – have shaped how I think about everything else I build.

My scientific work is not a chapter I closed when I became an entrepreneur. It is the foundation the other work stands on. The credibility to walk into a clinical institution in Doha or a VC meeting in Barcelona comes from the same place as the 67 publications and h-index of 39: from having spent years doing the work, understanding what the data actually says, and knowing where the science ends and the assumption begins.
