Who is responsible
José Pereira Leal is responsible for the personal information handled through this website. Questions about privacy can be sent to jose@pereiraleal.com.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, the site processes your name, email address, subject and message so that José can read and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in managing professional correspondence and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
Messages are retained only for as long as they remain relevant to the correspondence, a professional relationship or applicable legal obligations. They are not added to a marketing list.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides hosting, security and form processing. Google Workspace receives and stores the resulting email. These providers process information under their own security and data-protection safeguards and may process it outside the European Economic Area using recognised transfer mechanisms.
Security and cookies
Cloudflare Turnstile checks contact-form submissions for abuse. It may process technical information needed to distinguish people from automated traffic. The site does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, object to processing, or request portability. You may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country. To make a request, email jose@pereiraleal.com.
